Stranger Things

People who have watched the science fiction horror series Stranger Things on Netflix will recognize the sound of this beat. The series inspired me to make a beat with some vintage 80’s vibes. When I first saw the series I was very impressed by the soundtrack and the old school comic book atmosphere. I am a big fan of this genre. The raw synthesizer sounds and creepy otherworldly sound effects immediately caught my attention.

The series can be described as adventurous, unpredictable, mysterious and exciting. I tried to implement these same characteristics in my beat. You will hear raw basslines, arpeggiators, synth leads, crazy sound effects combined with some fine drum patterns. As far as I’m concerned, I managed to get a real Stranger Things sound. For the people who haven’t seen the series yet, I recommend you to watch!
