Northern Lights

The storytelling mood in this piece of music is reminiscent of the wonderful natural phenomenon called ‘Northern Lights’. I started this old school Hip-Hop instrumental by playing with various parts from a 70’s jazz record (Billy Cobham – Heather) and build the song by adding different musical elements like piano, guitar, melodic bells, synths, weird pads and sound fx. On top of that I put some ‘A Tribe Called Quest’ kind of drums with a stunning bassline. Do you like it?
