BRUEKORV: Where Generations and Music Styles Merge

BRUEKORV is the result of a unique collaboration between Willem Bruens and Robin van Korven, a father-in-law and son-in-law from North Brabant. What unites them is a shared passion for music, each bringing their own musical background to the table.

Willem is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. His musical journey took him across the Netherlands as part of the renowned country band West Virginian Railroad. There, he not only played guitar and sang but also contributed as a composer. Throughout his career, he performed alongside legends such as Freddy Fender and Lucille Starr.

Robin is responsible for production, recording, and artwork. For over 15 years, he has been producing hip-hop and collaborating with various local artists. Additionally, he is active as a solo artist under the name Korlofi and The Beat Murderer, creating instrumental lo-fi chill beats.

The name BRUEKORV is a fusion of their last names, but it also symbolizes the bridge their music builds between young and old. Their sound blends warm guitar tones and melancholic vocals with modern production techniques. Willem writes the songs, while Robin brings them to life in the studio. Together, they create music with a story. Together, they make music that connects.
